Make memories while learning basic science concepts through play and hands-on activities at one or both of our museums on the campus. You can stay cool indoors or have fun in the sun at our outdoor exhibits. We are open seven days a week; Children’s Discovery 9:00 – 3:00 and Science Discovery 10:00 – 4:30.
Upcoming programs at The Discovery Museums are free with admission unless otherwise noted. Children’s Discovery programs are designed for toddlers through Pre-K and Science Discovery programs are designed for Grades K through 8.
Come ready to dig on Saturday, July 18, for an all day “Outdoor Dinosaur Dig” at Children’s Discovery. Conduct your own paleontology dig in our giant outdoor sandbox. Bring a dinosaur and join in the fun! We’ll provide the sand, tools, and fossils. On Monday, July 20, at 10:00 a.m. at Science Discovery, join us for “Over, Under, Around and Through.” Explore the tools and techniques of weavers, both animal and human. How intricate a design will you weave? Outdoor program, weather permitting.
