Field Trips

A Field Trip to The Discovery Museums is a compelling and fun way to introduce STEM themes and provide hands-on opportunities for students to practice science and engineering. Our programs encourage students to observe, question, investigate, problem solve, examine evidence, and discuss findings. The hands-on exhibits and attentive education staff make learning exciting and memorable, while our topics and methods support the new Massachusetts Science and Technology/Engineering Curriculum Framework.

  • We offer three Field Trip experiences to the Science Discovery Museum
  • Groups of younger children can visit the Children’s Discovery Museum
  • Save $2 per person when you book your field trip during the off-peak months of September, October, or January.
  • September through March you may enjoy a 2-hour visit, and choose your arrival time
  • Schedule either two Field Trips or a Field Trip and Traveling Science Workshop and save! Learn more about our Package Deals
