Knot Your Average Park!

In this new outdoor exhibit children can captain a dory, take in a view from a look out point and try to save a sinking ship!  Ropes and instructions help children master the skill of tying knots.  Landscaping in Bessie’s Cove is made of recycled tire material offering a bouncy surface that simulates water.  Like a true ship, Bessie’s Cove is exposed to the elements which can add its own drama on windy days.
