Birthday parties are even more special when they are hosted at The Discovery Museums. Children are free to explore and play in either the Children's Museum or the Science Discovery Museum for one and a half hours. Included in your party package is 45 minutes reserved in the Discovery Classroom. The Discovery Classroom is heated/air conditioned, has a covered porch area, and is wheelchair accessible. A small microwave oven and apartment-sized refrigerator are available for use. The Discovery Classroom can accommodate up to 27 people. Larger groups should consider renting the museum for a private event.  For more information on renting the museum click here. Ready to book? Basic Party Pricing

• $195.00 - for up to 18 people (the children and adults who visit the museum building)
• $10.00 for each additional person (maximum of 27 total people)
• Infants under twelve months are welcome to join the party at no additional charge
• Museum members receive a 10% discount!

Choose from six party activities. Find your perfect party package here. Party activities are available at an additional fee and extend your time in the Discovery Classroom to one hour to accomodate time for the the activity.  

Need an Extra Pair of Hands? We're Here For You!

A specially trained museum staff member will serve as your “Party Manager” and will assist you with setting up before the party, transitioning your guests between the museum building and the Discovery Classroom, serving during the party, cleaning up after the party, and leading your birthday activity, if you choose one.  

We’ll Even Fill The Gift Bags!

If you wish to send party guests home with gift bags, The Discovery Museums can take care of this for you. Customize your own gift bag by selecting items from the Discovery Store or choose from one of our pre-packaged gift bags. Order your gift bags at least 7 days prior to the party and receive a 10% discount. Museum members receive a 10% discount no matter when they order. Learn more about Memberships
