Calendar or call 978.264.4200 ext. 0. The Discovery Museums hours of operation vary slightly during the school year and during the summer. During the school year, both buildings are open 6 days a week. Mondays our campus is open only for field trip groups. During the summer, both buildings are open 7 days a week.

Accessibility
The Discovery Museums welcomes visitors with all ability levels and we will work with your group to accommodate special needs. Should you require additional assistance, please call 978.264.4200 x11.
Because of the small spaces in the Children's Discovery Museum, please bring a Snugli® or backpack carrier for your visit rather than a stroller. If you would like to borrow a carrier, please ask at Admissions. At the Science Discovery Museum all spaces in the building are handicapped accessible. There is also an elevator for your convenience.
Explorer Staff members are on the exhibit floor to support your museum experience; identified by blue vests at Science Discovery or by green aprons at Children's Discovery.
A Word on Waits
When the buildings reach capacity, we will institute a wait list. During a wait, check-in at Admissions. One of our friendly museum staff members will give your party a number. We will admit you to the museum as soon as space becomes available. As long as you have your wait number, you may leave The Disovery Museums grounds without losing your place in line.
Parking
The Discovery Museums has free parking. When parking at the Museums, please observe the fire lane signs and park only in designated spaces to keep the lot safe for pedestrians, buses and emergency vehicle access. Use your creativity inside the Museums, not in the parking lots.
Eating
Out of respect for people with allergies, no food or drinks are permitted on the exhibit floor. You are welcome to use picnic tables throughout our grounds during nice weather. There are no indoor eating facilities onsite. If it's time for a snack, or for lunch, admission is good all day. We are happy to recommend nearby family friendly eateries. A map with locations can be requested at Admissions.

During your visit to The Discovery Museums you may be photographed and/or videotaped by our staff for marketing purposes. If you prefer not to be, please tell us at the admission desks. We will happily provide stickers to your party so that we know to avoid you with our cameras.
